I have learned to bookmark my days.
There will be one day that will be the best day of our life and there is one day which will be the worse. I want to know when that day arrives, for, like the stars above, those bookmark days serve as markers to guide us through the seasons of our life.
Today is definitely a bookmark day…at least for me.
It is Easter Sunday and I am sitting at home.
I would have never imagined that I’d be doing this, at least at this stage of my life.
This will not go down as the worst day of my life, but I will always remember it as one of the saddest days of my life.
But I do bookmark it as a day I was reminded of an important lesson.
There’s a lot of take-aways that I could offer, but there’s one that I think will serve us well when the pace of life picks back up and we feel the pressure to be in a dozen different places doing a dozen different things, all at the same time…
The ONE THING for today: You can’t do everything and you can’t be everywhere. Sometimes you just have to sit one out…and that’s okay.

Dear Pastor Kemp, may you and your family have a safe and blessed Easter!
Thank you Kaya! Through it was a “different” Easter, Sonja and I still had a special day. Thank you for your concern.
