Brutal Honesty

Being brutally honest is seldom a virtue.

Should you be truthful? Yes, but…

…be a wise manager of the true.

You’re no hero because you have the courage (or stupidity) to blurt out the truth.

Just because someone needs to hear the truth doesn’t mean they are ready to hear the truth. And the truth is meant to set people free, not destroy them.

The ONE THING for today: The wise truth-teller picks the right time, the right words, and the right tone when telling the truth.
