Still knowing

The best days have moments of silence.

When the bible says, “Be still and know…” it is reminding us that there is a level of knowing that will never occur while running in the fast lane.

Noise and fuss are not necessarily bad but quiet is necessary to know some things and experience some experiences.

The ONE THING for today: If only for a few minutes, be intentional about making time to be still today.  Leave your phone and computer in another room; turn off the television and radio, and lean hard into silence.  It is in those moments that you regain your humanity and hear from divinity.
