Bearing your cross

Bearing your cross is not about holding up bravely under pressure and adversity.  You may have to be brave and handle pressure to bear your cross, but ultimately, bearing your cross is about you dying.

Crosses are not tests and trials or tough times that you have to get through.

Crosses are about execution—your execution.

But here’s the good news: Resurrections and Crosses go together.

The reason you are asked to bear a cross is because something in you needs to die so that a better you can live.

The ONE THING for today: Don’t make bearing your cross about survival.  Take a hard look at yourself and see what needs to die and then let it.  You’ll like the results.
