Are you okay with your pastor prospering?

Jeremiah 31:14 (NKJV) I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord.”

I hope you are not like one board member I heard of, when asked to pray concerning what the pastor’s salary should be, who prayed, “Lord, you keep him humble and we’ll keep him poor.”

I know, just like with every profession, there are ministers out there who take advantage of their position and influence to “fleece the sheep.”

But I’m guessing that your pastor is not one of them.

Celebrate your pastor and staff ministers.  They are some of the very few people in life who are truly fighting for you.  Honor them and bless them, for when you do, you are honoring God who called them and sent them and you are also setting yourself up to be blessed.

The ONE THING today: Determine to do something tangible and specific to bless and honor your pastor over the next few days.  It will be good for you.
