If you see my Harley on a trailer, you’d better call the cops

If you are a serious biker you almost certainly have heard about Sturgis, SD.

Every summer hundreds of thousands of bikers from all over the world converge on this sleepy little prairie town and turn it into a teeming biker’s city .

In our travels through the Dakotas, Sonja and I have been through Sturgis several times (thankfully not during the Biker’s Rally!).  On one of our pitstops we stopped at a convenience store that had a big selection of “biker” tee shirts.  A couple stood out to me.

One said, “I own a Harley, not just this tee-shirt.”

And the other stated, “If you see my bike on a trailer, you’d better call the cops!  (In other words, they road it everywhere through any weather.)

The message here is there comes a time you have to go all in.  There comes a time you have to own your life (no more excuses/no more blaming others for your situation).  There comes a time you must own your dream and start taking action to turn it into reality.

Telling a good story and talking a good talk can be fun and entertaining, but after a while you have to shut your mouth and get to work.

The ONE THING for today: It’s only talking until you take action.

I’ve driven down this street when you did good to see one or two cars…but not during Biker’s week. Yikes!
