Knowing that God is eternal gives you the confidence that his purpose will stand.
Because God is immutable (changes not) and all-wise and knows all things (omniscience), He was able to come up with the perfect plan in the first place, and since He is eternally all-powerful (omnipotent), you can be sure that the plan will not change on you. (No “oops” with God!)
There will never be a “new sheriff in town”, the original regime will remain in power forever; no coups or term limits to worry about!
