A Sledding Lesson in June

The world sees the leader as the “lead dog” (the one in front); but the truth of the matter is that the Christian leader is more like Dog sledding—you lead from the back.   

For the Christian leader, the emphasis must always be on hearing from the back, and taking care of the pack. 

Whatever your title and responsibility, for the Christian, leading is not about you being first, it is about helping those under your care to finish well.    

Matter of fact, like a sled driver, you will often be the last to cross the finish line, but oh the victory will be so sweet.   

  • The ONE THING for today: Life is not about you; help others win and your wins will take care of themselves.
