I encourage you to regularly ask yourself, “What am I supposed to be doing?”
The key word is “supposed”.
The answer will not always include what you want to do or even what you are paid to do; the word “supposed” takes your answer to a higher plane – it reminds you of your moral duty, that which you will give an account for; it has to do with your purpose and mission in life.
Remember, doing what you’re supposed to be doing at any given moment will not always be comfortable or applauded but it will always be the right thing to do.
- The ONE THING for today: The goal for today is not to fill your minutes with busyness but to give your life in this moment for that which you were born.
1 Peter 2:12 (NIV)
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.
