Where forgiveness is absent, count on it, bitterness is brewing.
Like a ticking time bomb bitterness festers in the back of your mind and emotions.
Soon you’ll find yourself marching to the cadence of that tick, tick, tick until the explosion occurs and sadly it is usually innocent people who get hurt the most.
Why not forgive and be done with it?
And remember, forgiveness is seldom a one-time event. Forgiveness is usually an activity much more akin to breathing—you have to keep doing it over and over and over if you hope to keep bitterness at bay.
The ONE THING today: Forgive that person(s) who came to mind as you were reading this.
