A Mid-day Moment

Did you just say what I thought you said?

  • “I told my wife that a husband is like a fine wine-he gets better with age. The next day she locked me in the cellar.” _Milton Berle

Just because you said it doesn’t mean they heard it.  Never underestimate the ability of people to misunderstand, misinterpret, and misquote what you say; matter of fact, count on it and be willing to give a little grace when they do.

Here’s a good rule of thumb: Say something and then spend the rest of your life explaining what you said by living it out.  This policy will greatly limit what you say but will greatly increase what you do.

And as it turns out, what you do speaks louder than what you say anyway.
