- Proverbs 15:7 (NKJV) The lips of the wise disperse knowledge, but the heart of the fool does not do so.
Make it a goal to include in as many conversations as possible the following: “Let me share with you what God has revealed to me…”
Think how that will greatly limit your choices of conversation.
It will save you from putting your foot in your mouth, it will keep you from gossiping, spreading groundless rumors and from potentially slandering (verbally murdering) someone.
It will stop you from wasting time with meaningless and shallow chatter and it will cut out the vulgar and off-color talk.
Why making it a habit to continually share what God has revealed to you will eliminate almost every option you have for conversation; but oh what you do say…it will contain the wisdom of the ages and what an impact it will have.
One other thing, I am assuming that you are spending the time required for God to share something with you. People that repeat themselves quickly become a bore. If all you have to share is what God revealed to you in the past then make time for a fresh word—you need it and so will those God brings across your path.
