Watch out for those salad bars

• Proverbs 28:19 (NKJV) He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows frivolity will have poverty enough!

Ever eaten at Ruby Tuesdays and ordered the salad bar as a part of your meal? The danger is that you get so filled up with all the options on the salad bar that by the time your main entrée arrives you’ve already eaten too much.

Many people are like that about life. They spend their time and energy on side-issues and fail to take care of the things that really, really matter.

So how should you live your life?

• If you knew you only had an hour to live what would you do? Do that now!
• If you knew you only had a day to live, what would you do? Do that next.
• If you knew you only had a week to live, what would you do? Do that next.
• If you knew you only had a year to live, what would you do? Do that next.

Then if you have any time left go to the salad bar.
