Tossing your plans out the window

• Psalm 33:11 (NKJV) The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

It is looking like this is going to one of those weeks that my plans may get tossed out the window.  I hate it when that happens—I’m a “let’s get a plan and stick to the plan” guy.

But then it occurred to me, no matter what happens to my plans, God still has a plan.  That’s the fact that matters.

The fact that God has a plan, not that we have a plan or that we know God’s plan is the basis of our peace and hope.

So go ahead, roll down the window and toss your plans out if you have too—God’s still driving and you’re going to make it home.
