What to do on the worst day of your life…

  • Luke 23:46 (NKJV) Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.   

As the Son of Man, the day Jesus was crucified was arguably the worst day of His life.  crucified_jesus__the_face_by_devcager

So what did He do?  He committed himself into the hands of his Father God.

I think that’s an excellent example for us.  As you start a new week, whether today is the worst day or the best day of your life or one of the many days in between those two extremes: commit them to God.

The resurrection is proof that God can take the absolutely worse case scenario and make good out of it.

I don’t dare make many promises to you this for this week, but I can make this one: [I] know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28, NKJV)

Hang in there–you’re going to make it!
