Is that God calling?

  • Exodus 3:4 (NKJV) So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
  • And he said, “Here I am.”

Your calling is what is calling you; it’s that simple.

Maybe your childhood was like mine; when I was a boy I played outside most of the day.  However, around dinner time mom would go to the backdoor and “call” me in.  That is what your calling is – it’s that thing that God keeps calling you on.

There are a lot of “by-product” things we do.  For example, you love your family so as a by-product you work a job to earn money to take care of them.  But then there are a few things that you just can’t not do – pay, position or recognition doesn’t matter – you’ve hear God calling.

Go for it…that call is the one thing you must not allow anything or anyone steal away from you.

  1. Twice in my life, God has had to slap me upside the head to get me to realize HIS will for my life! Most recently was when He revealed to me the spiritual gift He gave me of intercessory prayer. I have always felt that was a spiritual gift of mine, but it wasn’t until God used Ms. Alma to confirm it and I’m so, so glad He did! I just wish I would have obeyed sooner!! Why are we so hard-headed? Thanks for the awesome word!
