120502: Oh great and loving savior: Lord Jesus Christ! I love you and worship you today. One year ago today Osama ben Laden was killed and his “empire” continues to crumble; yet thousands of years later, your Kingdom still stands and still brings transformation and hope. Oh the difference between hate and love. Oh the sadness, loss and death that hatred brings :(!
Lord Jesus, teach us to love as you. Teach us to even love our enemies. I pray that our legacy will be one of mercy and love not hatred and destruction. Please help us and guide us towards this goal; help us to be builders not destroyers.
- As far as this day, please minister to my dearly loved family, church family, friends and to all those that call upon thy name around the world. I pray that they will not feel alone. Many work and live in places of strive, destruction and even hatred. But remind them of the power of your love that works in them and through them. Let no one despair; keep them by your might and send the great gift of the Holy Spirit to provide strength, comfort and wisdom. Bottom line, help us! We need Thee and cry out for your help.
- Finally, I pray for traveling mercy and peace at the end of today’s journey. Get us home safe and with thanksgiving in our hearts.
