Prayer of the Day…

120420 (Friday): Oh GOD – our dearly loved Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – we are devoted to Thee!  You who are the wise Master-builder and I pray that YOU will enter the temple of our being.  Enlarge our capacity to know YOU and commune with YOU.  Repair us and renovate us!  I cannot imagine how ruinous we must look to YOU.  I know that our sinfulness and selfishness must offend you greatly – but I plea the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Look at us through His blood.  Forgive us, cleanse us and open our eyes to our secret faults. And through the power of thy Holy Spirit, fill us with power to overcome and abundant joy to draw people unto Thee. 

• Furthermore, raise a wall around our soul to protect us from our fierce enemy. Deliver us from evil and guard all those we love and care for also.
• Finally, fill not only the temple of our being, but fill our homes, our stations in life and our church with your mighty Presence.  Like the sun above – brighten our lives with your gracious kindness and fill our inner man and those places we abide, work and worship in with your abiding Presence. 
• Break through the clouds and drive away the darkness.  Encourage us and keep us I pray.  Come Light of Heaven we need Thee; and to whom can we go but to YOU to receive life.
• I ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
