Good morning!
Here we are and it is Wednesday already; I pray that you are in the middle of a great week.
The one thing that I’d like for you to focus on today is related to yesterday’s “Be Kind” challenge. Today I’d like to adjust the lens a bit and focus in with laser sharpness on one particular area. The one thing for today is this: “Speak kindly of everyone.”
This is a choice; no one twists your arm and makes you say sarcastic, cutting and negative things about people. Why not burn that bridge behind you and from now on speak kindly of everyone.

I don’t know the science of it all, but I’m told that every little baby is technically a female in its mother’s womb up until a certain point when for some that brain is washed in a certain chemical/hormone that turns on the “switch” for making the baby develop into a boy. In the same way, every time you speak you are washing your inner man with good or bad “chemicals”. When you speak well of people it sets in motion a whole series of good character-building emotions (both in you and those around you) but when you speak negatively of someone it sets in motion a whole series of bad character-building emotions (both in you and those around you).Speaking negatively of people is like a bad case of acid reflux. Why would you do that to yourself? And that burning sensation on the back of your neck… That’s the burning displeasure of God – He hates it when we speak unkindly of someone (Proverbs 6:16-19).
Think of how few people you can truly say, “I’ve never heard them say a bad word about anybody.” Starting today – be one of those people.
God’s blessings and favor be with you,
dlkemp
