Wow! What a privilege to be the pastor of the Fort Church of God on our 80th birthday! We have such a wonderful heritage – existing for almost 35% of our nation’s existence. Today we will be celebrating and honoring:
- The precious founding fathers/mothers of our church who birthed our church. I give GREAT honor and respect to them!
- Their dedicated children that now worship and serve among us – thank you for all you do and for carrying our great heritage forward to us today!
- And ultimately, all of our church family. I am so proud of you all. Day after day and week after week you love, give, serve, worship and pray. You make it a joy to serve as pastor of the dear and dearly loved people of the great Fort Church of God. There’s none better in the world. I love you.

This weekend was such a wonderful time of worship and reflection! I feel so blessed to be a part of such a loving devoted faithful body of worshippers. Being accepted as a new member on such an auspicious occasion just made it even more special. I’m so excited to officially be a member of the church and looking forward to see what God has in store for us in the future!
