Proof that I’m practicing what I preach…

Well I’ve had a good day enjoying my second childhood. 

Just this afternoon I was talking with Kathy Clippinger and she was having trouble finding something she wanted to read to me.  She apologized by saying, “I’m sorry, I know you’re in a hurry!”  I was able to correct her by saying, “No not really, take your time!”  It’s great when Jesus is in charge of things!

It's a beautiful thing when a preacher and his wife learns to lighten up a bit...four wheeling will do it!

Then Sonja just called to apologize because she was running behind on her schedule and I was able to say, “Don’t sweat it dear, I’m not in a hurry!”  Yeah, letting Jesus run the Universe while I just enjoy being the Father’s child is really nice.

I thought I’d add a different picture this evening.  During December some friends invited us to spend a few days at their mountain lodge in the mountains of North Carolina.  They had already had a good snow and for the first time in my life I went “four-wheeling.”  Sonja road on the back and had never hugged me so tight…that is until she began to relax after she’d figured out that I wasn’t going to kill us.  Oh well, it was good while it lasted. 

But anyway, I added the picture to show you that I really am practicing what I preach…hope you are also (Matthew 18:1-5).

  2. BRAVO!!!! Pastor. You know when Pastor’s happy his whole family and church family is happy. So glad that you are back and enjoying your life with your family. That’s what it is all about La Familia!! Have a blessed day and we love you…..Joe & Ann
