To my dear Fort Mill Church of God family and many friends,
It my distinct privilege to announce the safe arrival of my first grandchild – David Lee Kemp III into the world today!!! He was born at 10:59 a.m. and weighed eight pounds and seven ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long; and he is tied for number one with all the other grandchildern that have ever been born as the most beautiful baby in all the world!
I must say, David Lee’s birth has been one of the most wonderful and emotional experiences that I have ever gone through. I’m sure I’ll write more about it later after I’ve had time to process things. For now, thanks for your many prayers, gifts, and numerous expressions of love and support. You have made this an even more joyous occasion.
