Okay, a quick science lesson: What is the planet closest to the Sun?
Correct answer: Mercury.
So it stands to reason that it is the hottest planet as well, right? Wrong.
The hottest planet is Venus averaging 867 degree Fahrenheit compared to Mercury’s 332 degree average.
That’s over a whopping 535 degree difference!
What gives here?
