Being ready to suffer for your integrity

 

There’s a world of difference between being ready to suffer for your integrity and looking to suffer for your integrity.

There is nothing worse than a self-righteous martyr. They are like the Muslim extremist who blow themselves up to kill people.

Suffering for your integrity must never be the goal; it should simply be something you willing to do if your Master requires it of you. It doesn’t make you a hero; it just puts you in His company.

  • The ONE THING for today: Beware of sacrificing people on the altar of principle; Jesus came to save the lost, not prove a point.

 

Proverbs 11:3 (AMP) 
The integrity and moral courage of the upright will guide them,
But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them.
