The ONE THING for today

Hope, part 2

Hope = confident expectation based on the character, promises and plan of God.

Living life with confident expectation requires having a tolerance for ambiguity and uncertainty.

You are going to have to leave much of today and most of tomorrow in the capable hands of God.

Bottom line, hope is based on trust and trust is based on relationship.  The more you know God the more you trust him and the more you trust him the more your hope pays dividends and those dividends are called “peace.”

  • The ONE THING for today: OK, do it.  Commit to give your best to the God-assignments in your life and release control of everything else into God’s capable hands (and that includes “fixing/changing” people!)
