Can you be fully prepared? Forget about it!

  • Genesis 22:7-8 (NKJV) But Isaac spoke to Abraham his father and said, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” Then he said, “Look, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
  • And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.”

If you must have everything you need for the journey before you start you will never arrive to where God wants you to be.

Every day is an exercise in faith—you must exercise the faith to believe that God knew what He was doing yesterday and thus prepared you for today. And tomorrow? Forget about it! God is preparing you for tomorrow today.

Instead of fretting about whether or not you have what you need for tomorrow, just enjoy the journey today—God’s got tomorrow (and today) covered.

  • The ONE THING for today: Give today your best shot and trust God with the rest.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
