“Because I told you so” is not good enough

Most people are destined to work for the man (woman) because they are satisfied with doing what they’re told to do.

Winning for them is following orders and following those orders well.

If you hope to be more and do more in life, you’ve got to understand that doing well what you’re told is only the first step to winning in life; knowing why you were told is of vast more importance.

The ONE THING for today: Follow orders, by all means–do so with excellence.  But also make it a point to understand why those orders were given.
