The shots you didn’t take

  • You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. –Wayne Gretzky

The National Hockey League has been in existence since 1917–98 years and I only know the name of one hockey player: Hall of Famer, Wayne Gretzky.

The only reason I’ve heard of him is that he lived by the philosophy of the above quote.

You do the same today; take a shot at something; dare to try, take a chance.  Who knows, you may hit the goal…and if you don’t, failing is not the end of the world…the end of the world is later and on that day it will be so much better to stand before God giving an account of all the times you at least tried than having to explain the shots you didn’t take.
