Get Your Week Started Right

 

Follow this train of thought with me… 

Just left of the word “In” in Genesis 1:1 (“In the beginning…”) the entire universe did not exist.  But by the end of Genesis 1:31 the entire universe had been made.  Amazing!  God created the entire universe in one week!   

Now notice this: God knew what he was going to do before he started but he still broke it down into days.  There was something that had to be done each day but he didn’t feel obligated to do it all in one day. 

Learn from God. 

You may be feeling the pressure of all you’ve got to get done this week (month, year, life) but it doesn’t have to all be done today.  There is something that must be done each separate day this week—focus on that with relentless tenacity and leave the rest to the tomorrows God is going to give you. 

Matthew 6:34 (NKJV)

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.

Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
