Don’t stay in your hot car too long

  • Acts 4:12 (NKJV) Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

You probably never think about it, but every time you stop your car on a typical hot summer day you only have a limited amount of time to get out before you die.

And don’t think it is a summer issue only. For example, a car can go from 78 degrees to 100 degrees in three minutes and to 125 degrees in six-eight minutes.

Of course the odds are this will never happen—but it illustrates a point. The point is this: don’t assume you are going to get out of this life unscathed. It truly is possible to jump out of the proverbial frying pan into the fire.

The only way to get out of this life without getting burnt is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Today is probably not your “exit” day, but I wouldn’t assume it.

Jesus: Don’t leave home without Him.
