- Lamentations 2:9 The Law is no more, and her prophets find no vision from the LORD.
The book of Lamentations is…well a lamentation. It was written by a man named Jeremiah many years ago and in it he describes the woes and sorrows of Israel being conquered and subjugated to bondage and slavery. It was a sad, sad day for the people of that day.
However, the greatest tragedy was there were no bibles and when the bible is missing from a nation, church or family its people will soon be in bondage and absent of hope and a vision for a better future.

So today, the greatest tragedy that will happen to so many people will probably go unannounced and unnoticed; it will be the absence of an open and read bible in their lives.
Whatever you do – don’t be one of those people. Your bible is calling.
“If God is a reality, and the soul is a reality, and you are an immortal being, what are you doing with your Bible shut?”
