The people observing Jesus’ work noticed something: He did it well. They were impressed, not only with his message and his miracles; they were impressed with how well he did them.

Don’t miss this vital characteristic. As important as it is for you to be known for your charity also make it your goal to be known for your extraordinary competence. Spiritually is great; but doing a superior job matters also.

So as you go through this day remember the lesson of your Teacher: be known for more that someone who goes about doing good, but as one who does it well.
