What about clutter?

  • Leviticus 10:10 (NKJV) that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean,

I grew up hearing statements like: “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop.” And, “Cleanliness is next to godliness.”

Now just in case you’re wondering, they are not bible verses, but they do teach valuable lessons. Take for example the second one: “Cleanliness is next to godliness.”

Don’t let that quaint little statement pass you by.  A cluttered workspace, home, calendar and life means something. And whatever it means I’d be hard pressed to find a good meaning behind it.

With just the two of them now living at home; my mother still has an annual intensive “spring cleaning” where she goes through her entire house with a fine-tooth comb and gets everything back in order. Perhaps you need a shock to your system with a good spring cleaning.

It couldn’t hurt and-who knows, it may just uncover some forgotten treasures and tasks that will set you up to go to the next level.
