- Proverbs 15:5 (NKJV) A fool despises his father’s instruction, but he who receives correction is prudent.
The Bible assumes that fathers “correct”. This is not just the role of a mother or teacher.
Remember men, God the Father sets the course for your children; you help them along that course by making corrections along the way.
Correction is not controlling or cajoling; correction is helping you child make adjustments; and there are many ways to do that.
Blessed is the child that has a father who provides correction.
