- 1 Kings 20:40 (NKJV) “So shall your judgment be; you yourself have decided it.”
We’re all familiar with the statement: “To not make a decision is a decision.”
However, we often fail take into consideration the ramifications of not making a decision. To not make a decision is also deciding that the current situation is acceptable.
Is that true?
In those areas that you are postponing making a decision is the current situation really acceptable?
- To the woman (or man or child) who is being physically and/or verbally abused – is that really acceptable?
- To the addict that is postponing dealing with their issue – is that really acceptable?
- To the average student who is planning on someday becoming a serious student – is being average really acceptable?
- To the unhealthy that is postponing really getting a handle on their health – is your current situation really acceptable?
Well…you get the picture.
Oh and by the way, to make a decision doesn’t mean that it has to be a radical, over-the-top decision. Sometimes the best way to change a situation is by making one little wise decision at a time. As the old saying goes: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.”
All I’m asking is: Decide to do something.
