“Too late” does not have to be final…

  • 2 Kings 7:3 (NKJV) “Why are we sitting here until we die?”

A few days ago I wrote these words:

  •  These words haunt me: “There is an immeasurable distance between late and too late.”

I’ve thought a lot about that statement since and decided to add the following…

  • These words help me: “Regardless of what you’ve done, it’s not too late…to do something.”

What I mean by this is that it does you or no one else any good for you to live in the sad shadowlands of regret.

If it’s too late it’s too late; all you can do is close the chapter on that part of your life and pick up from there.  You can’t run the clock back but you can use the time that’s left wisely.  You can’t unspeak words; but you can speak new words now.

Bottom line, take your “too late” to the Cross – leave it there and by God’s grace move forward towards a brighter day.
