Proverb of the Day

Why there are so many foolish people…

  • Proverbs 8:4 (NKJV) “To you, O men, I call, and my voice is to the sons of men.”

I wonder how well the people of Solomon’s day would have done at hearing the voice of Wisdom if there had been radios, televisions, podcasts, CDs, movies, emails, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube, Netflicks, telephones, texting, voicemail, “snail mail”, and dozens of others distractions.

Now I’m beginning to see why there are so many foolish people in our time.

Hearing the voice of Wisdom requires great effort, intentionality, and discipline.
