Bob Hope keeping company with theologians?

You’d think the great 15^th century theologian Thomas a Kempis and the great 20^th century comedian Bob Hope would be the last two people to be pared up together on anything.  But today it works.  Note the following two quotes: 

• “He doeth much that loveth much.” _Thomas à Kempis (1379-1471)
• “People who throw kisses are hopelessly lazy.” _Bob Hope (1903-2003)

They are both saying the same thing: Love requires action…action that is serving, sacrificial and sustained.

Remember dear friend, if you love someone you’ve got to do something about it.

Also, if you love someone today…show it today; don’t wait for some tomorrow…you never know.
