Today’s ONE THING: What are people saying about you?

  • Proverbs 22:1 (NKJV) A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches

There is something about you that differentiates you from all others: it is your reputation. No matter what you do or say, your reputation – for good or bad – colors everything.

Your reputation is either your best friend or worst enemy. Your reputation is your greatest asset or greatest liability.

Whatever you do: guard, protect and invest in your reputation. And remember this, a reputation takes years to build but can be destroyed in a moment.

However, a reputation is usually destroyed slowly – like snow melting – until one day people give up on you. What happens first, they stop trusting you, and eventually – in those close to you – love can even die; that is a sad, sad day and one very hard to recover from.

So, what is your reputation? And what are you doing to protect it and improve it?
