With a Focus on 40-days of Prayer & Fasting… Day-29/40 (73% Complete)

  • Mark 6:46 (NKJV) And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.

One of the toughest things about prayer is convincing ourselves that if we take the time to pray that we will still have enough time to get everything else done. It’s not that we don’t want to pray, it’s that we are so busy; and it is a little scary to slow down and spend valuable time that we could be working on the “To do” list simply sitting at the feet of God in prayer.

It’s like exercise: if we don’t make the time to exercise now there will come a day that we will have to make time to go to the doctor. We know this, but it is still hard to make ourselves exercise – and in many ways, prayer is an exercise – an exercise of faith: believing that by giving God priority with our time and effort the rest of our day will be even more productive.

Dear friend put God to the test – spend time in prayer and witness how He will make the rest of your day so much better.
