With a Focus on 40-days of Prayer & Fasting… Day-9/40 (23% Complete)

  • Acts 2:42 (NKJV) And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

One of the great things about a church observing 40-days of prayer and fasting is that we do it together. That is how the Christian life was meant to be – becoming a part of the family of God. The process is like this: first we commit our lives to Christ and then He points us to a church where we commit ourselves to fellow believers.

40-days is about something bigger than our individual lives, it is about bearing one another’s burdens. It is about sharing in each other’s joys and encouraging each other to continue to grow in our common faith. It is about breaking bread together and fasting together and even – if need be – provoking each other to perform good works.

Bottom line, celebrating 40-days of prayer and fasting was not meant to be done alone, and that is a very good thing.

The “family” meets nightly at 7:00 p.m. (except Friday) // 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday…love to see you.
