With a Focus on 40-days of Prayer & Fasting…

If you are a part of the Fort Mill Church of God, then today is a huge day for you: It is the beginning of our annual 40-days of Prayer & Fasting. This is our 15th “40-days”. This annual event has become a part of the “DNA” of our church. It is no longer an extra thing we do for a few folk that like that sorta thing, it has become a necessary event in our corporate life – something that is required for us to be healthy as a people and as a person.

Over the next 40-days I will focus on this important event with my daily blog in order to offer a little coaching and encouragement to help you get the most out this special season. And by the way, to our many friends, you are also invited to join us. I know of many that do and I’d love to hear from you.

For today: Our official beginning starts tonight. Lord willing, I will declare the official beginning of our 40-day season. The “Day-1” service is always a special service and I encourage you to make every effort to be there.
