The Definition of Success: The Complete List

• Genesis 24:12 (NKJV) “O LORD God…please give me success this day,”

Throughout the New Year I have been walking you through my personal definition of success. Here’s the complete list:

Success for me is:

1. To be at peace with God and if possible all people.
2. To be loved and respected by those who know me best.
3. To be able to look at myself in the mirror and know that I am doing what I was born to do with growing excellence.
4. To be able to look at myself in the mirror and know that I am doing what I was born to do with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and not in my own strength alone.
5. To be able to close my eyes at night and be at peace having experienced the joy and pleasure of being in my Father God’s presence and having given my best at what He asked me to do.
6. To finish the course that my Lord has laid out for me with integrity and with a good name.
7. To have set up for success, the generation(s) that will follow me and then cheer them on from Heaven.
