Nothing Major is Going to Happen Today

• Mark 4:22 (NLT) For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light.

If something major appears to happen today don’t be fooled.  What appears to be “major” is simple the culmination of many little things that finally came together to pack a big punch.

Your daily choices and deeds are like rain drops that fall to the ground and gather day by day with other rain drops (daily choices and deeds) into little streams of water that run off into little brooks that wind their way to small streams that make their way to rivers that eventually end up emptying into an ocean (the “big event”).

If an “ocean event” occurs today don’t be fooled, you are just experiencing the culmination of many little choices and deeds made over the course of many days, months and even years.

I’m sure you’re tracking with me here: All the little things you are going to do today matter.

The food you feed on (physically, emotionally and spiritually), the friends you hang out with, the issues that you make a priorities, the investments you make (or don’t make) will one day converge into a “major” event.

But don’t be fooled…that event started happening many days before.

The key to you experiencing something really great and good someday is to make really great and good choices today and then tomorrow and then the next day and then…well you get the picture.
