Out of Balance or Out of Touch?

  • Psalm 1:3 (NKJV) He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

If you work long hours for three or four days and nights in a row neglecting your family it probably means that you have a nonnegotiable project or event that you have to be a part of.

If you work long hours for three or four weeks, it probably means that you are going through a short season of out of balance responsibility that requires you to make a deadline.

However, if you are working long hours and nights for six months then you’ve made a crucial decision about what your value most in life.

It is one thing to go through an out of balance season – that happens sometime.

It’s another thing to have completely sold out that which you should value most for some lesser thing.
