- Isaiah 43:18 – 19 (NKJV) Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
I WILL LIVE THIS DAY BY: Not focusing on the happenings of the day that is gone, whether good or bad, and instead, greet this new day with the confidence that it can be the best day of my life.
Yesterday is the foundation upon which you start each new day. Therefore, it does matter.
However, foundations are meant to be built upon. Whether your yesterday was good or bad is irrelevant now. God is faithful. He created you, called you and has anointed you for a special mission and purpose in life.
Furthermore, when you accept Jesus Christ as your savior, God enters into a committed and eternal covenant relationship with you that ensures that you will live an overcoming life. Remember, God is bigger than your worst yesterday.
Therefore, no matter what your past may be – you can build upon it.
You must not allow temporary setbacks and down days to stop you!
You truly can start each day with the expectant hope that this day can indeed be the best day of your life.
Be of good cheer! It can only get better from here…
