Today’s ONE THING: Hope is a terrible strategy…unless…

  • Romans 5:5 (NKJV) Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Hope is a terrible strategy for the undisciplined and unprepared.  However, for the person that understands that God loves them – even the undisciplined and unprepared (can you say “Grace and mercy”?), then in the end, they can have a hope that will not disappoint.

Remember what really matters: not that you know God’s plan for your life, but that you know God has a plan for your life.

We’ll never be able to grasp all the details of God’s plan and purpose for our life, but because we know He loves us, no matter what the immediate circumstances may be, we can have a hope that does not disappoint.
