Charles Spurgeon once said, “It seems odd that certain men who talk so much of what the Holy Spirit reveals to themselves, should think so little of what he revealed to others.” This highlights our need to be life-long learners.
I finished a great book today that I’d recommend: “De-Railed: Five Lessons Learned From Catastrophic Failures of Leadership” by Tim Irwin.
One of the greatest tragedies in life is when a minister of the Gospel crashes and burns. This book deals with five fundamental principles that apply to every occupation that are required if a person hopes to finish strong. I highly suggest that you take a look at Irwin’s book.
And finally, if you haven’t registered for this year’s church leadership conference (FMCOG, September 17-18) please do so by emailing me at this address.
Blessings and kindest regards,

Pastor, I would love to attend but the 18th is the day I take my Ordination exam. I was planning on leaving Monday night so I would not have to travel on Tuesday. I really don’t want to miss the conference though. Will it be recorded? Is there a way to get notes of somwthing? Thanks, Lee
