- John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
There is thirst and then there is thirst. Most people have never truly experienced that excruciating and life-threatening thirst that comes when someone who is cut off from all moisture and hope of getting any. That is a picture of someone who does not know Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and Savior.
However, if you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior then I remind you that no matter where you are or what you are going through – like a fresh, crystal clear and pure stream of perpetual water – Jesus’ love, grace, mercy, protection, anointing, and determined care is flowing toward you.
Drink from that stream anytime you desire; you never have to thirst again.
