2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Tomorrow we will complete the 28 days of prayer that was begun on Father’s Day.
There’s something to be said for finishing, it put me in the mind of when we “finish finish.” I can think of no better way of being remembered than as being a man prayer.
Brothers, over these last 28 days we have been developing a habit that will keep us in good stead for the rest of our lives. It is my prayer that whenever we make the final lap of our life’s race that among whatever else will be said of us that it will be said, “He was a man of prayer.” I don’t think we’ll have many regrets upon leaving this world, and I think it will bode well for us where we will be going if that is the case.
Bottom line, let us pray brothers, let us pray until the finish.
RIP
